Quickstart: creating your workspace
Create a KosheVault workspace, set your organization's baseline security policy, and add your first vault.
Create your organization
Every KosheVault workspace starts as an organization. When you sign up, you choose an organization name and a primary domain — this domain is later used to verify members and, if you enable it, to enforce single sign-on.
You do not need production infrastructure to explore KosheVault. The interactive demo at /app uses sample data so you can see the full product experience before connecting anything real.
Set a baseline security policy
From Organization → Security policy, decide whether every member must use two-factor authentication and whether single sign-on is required. These toggles apply organization-wide and take effect immediately for new sessions.
Most teams start with two-factor authentication required and SSO optional, then tighten enforcement once their identity provider is connected.
Create your first vault
Vaults are the unit of sharing in KosheVault. Create a vault for each team or purpose — Engineering, Finance, and Personal are common starting points — and invite only the people who need access.
You can reorganize items between vaults at any time; moving an item does not change its history.
